6th Annual Fourth Of July Freedom Fest

Wet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix

Kick off the Independence weekend with Wet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix, the state’s largest waterpark! On July 2, admission includes a 6 to 9 p.m. performance by The Southwest Surfers, a Beach Boys Tribute Band, and a fireworks show on Sunday starting at 8:45 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for a delectable all-you-can-eat BBQ dinner from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. just before the Sunday fireworks. Between Saturday and the 4th of July, free admission can be enjoyed by veterans, members of the active U.S. military and first responders (active duty police, fire and EMT). On July 2, an all-American barbecue starts the Independence Day celebration at the Verde Canyon Railroad depot prior to the 1 p.m. train departure of the Firecracker Express. Throughout the journey, each open-air car will be visited by Sonora, the only train-riding bald eagle. The train’s historic home town, Clarkdale, continues the festivities on Monday, July 4, in its classic small-town style Independence Day celebration beginning with flag-raising ceremony and a pancake breakfast in the park. There will also be a delightful children’s parade, rousing patriotic anthems performed by the Cottonwood Community Band, sweet treats served in the park and Verde Canyon Railroad-sponsored popular ice cream town social. The Scottsdale Fairmont Princess proudly honors our veterans and active military by ringing in the 6th Annual Fourth of July Freedom Fest event! Two one-of-a-kind vintage air show over the weekend of the fourth will fly over the resort piloted by retired veterans and concluding with a military parachutist from the All Veterans Parachute Team soaring through the skies and landing with an American flag. Schnepf Farms 4th of July Celebration

Price: $20 per car load


Come celebrate the 4th of July at Schnepf Farms! Enjoy Amusement Rides from miniature golf to a roller coaster and more while shuttle to and from the ride area on the free hayride. Food trucks offering Ice Cold Watermelon Slices, Hotdogs, Hamburgers, Grilled pizza, Ice Cream, Chicken Wings and more will be located around the festival grounds and under the large outdoor pavilion near the festival site. At 8:30 p.m., celebrate the America Firework Extravagaza at 8:30 p.m.! After the fireworks, enjoy a family feature film on an outdoor movie screen with free popcorn. Witness the Valley’s biggest festival and fireworks spectacular this 4th of July! The Kiwanis Club of Tempe 65th Annual Fireworks Spectacular will be launched from the Mill Avenue Bridge and choreographed to music for all tastes and interests including patriotic, pop, country, and more. Doors open at 5 p.m. while Fireworks Spectacular Over Tempe Town Lake Fireworks scheduled between 9: 15 and 9:50 p.m. For more information, visit their website or their Yelp event page.

The Phoenix Zoo's pecial 4th of July celebration promises plenty of fun activities for everyone from a catered BBQ dinner, free carousel rides, live entertainment, inflatable bounce house & slide for kids. The event will be topped off with a very special viewing of the Temple Town Lake Fireworks Spectacular show at a VIP seating area in the back of the zoo!
